ABOUT

Spencer joined Miami Mock Trial on a whim and it completely changed his life. In his time at Miami, Spencer deepened his love of performance and discovered his love of advocacy.

As a junior, Spencer helped Miami take home the 2018 National Champion title in Minneapolis, MN, earning himself a national title and his first All-American. The following year, as the only returning member of that National Champion team and as the program’s President, Spencer led MMT back to the National Championship - earning his second All-American in the process.

After graduating from Miami, Spencer earned his law degree from the Univeristy of Cincinnati College of Law. While there he was given special permission to represent the law school in trial advocacy as a first year student - earning a Best Attorney nod from the Ohio Attorney General in his first semester of law school. In subsequent years, Spencer continued to represent UC Law in law school Moot Court and Trial Advocacy competitions at the national level. Upon graduation he was commended for his service to the law school and his winning record as a competitor.

Spencer now works in Cincinnati, OH for Markovits, Stock & DeMarco, LLC. Spencer’s practice consists primarily of complex litigation and class action work on behalf of state and nationwide classes. His specialties, in addition to courtroom advocacy and oral argument, include consumer protection and privacy actions.
