ABOUT

Maggie is a senior and fourth-year Miami Mock Trial competitor. Since joining, she has taken on pretty much every type of attorney on the bench, and has had some fun playing character witnesses with varying accents and characterizations.

During her time at Miami, Maggie has been able to compete in both virtual and in-person mock trial competitions. In her virtual season, she looks fondly on the 2020 IUPUI invitational, where she gave Plaintiff’s opening statement and earned her first team and individual awards of her career. Maggie has also enjoyed being able to travel with her teammates, both being able to compete with them and help her fellow witnesses get their hair and makeup styled.

Maggie graduated as valedictorian from Teays Valley High School in 2020 and was involved in a number of clubs and student organizations during her high school years, including Mock Trial. During her time in high school mock trial, she served as varsity team captain and brought home four outstanding attorney awards for the Viking Nation, including awards on both sides of the case in her roles as a closing attorney during her senior year.

Currently, Maggie plans to attend Grad School following undergrad.  She works as a Resident Assistant in Stanton Hall and loves helping freshman and other younger students adjust to campus life in any way she can.  Outside of mock trial, Maggie enjoys reading, cooking, making playlists, all things Disney-related, and spending time with her friends.
