ABOUT

Kathryn is a senior and extremely excited to be in her fourth year competing with Miami Mock Trial.

As a junior, Kathryn competed on Miami’s A team as a double sided attorney, where they took first place at numerous competitions across the nation. Her sophomore year, Kathryn helped qualify Miami’s A team to ORCS with a perfect 8-0 regionals record as the team’s resident opener; performing the opening statement for both the plaintiff and defense. Her freshman year, she was the youngest attorney placed on Miami’s B team delivering an opening statement.

Currently, Kathryn is majoring in Human Capital Management and minoring in Political Science. She is a Teaching Assistant under Professor Paul Becker for Business Law. Additionally, she is a member of Women in Law, Amicus Curiae and active in her sorority, Delta Delta Delta.

With all of her free time outside of mock trial, you can find her [reluctantly] working at Starbucks making coffee at 7am. If you prefer sleeping in, she can be found drinking good coffee at Kofenya, reading any book she can get her hands on, or trying to convince her friends to binge the Harry Potter movies for the 10th time. If you still can’t find her just look for the ginger loudly quoting niche internet soundbites.

She intends to go to law school after completing her undergraduate education at Miami.
