ABOUT
Julia Robinson is a senior and is very excited to start her fourth year with Miami Mock Trial.
During her freshman year, Julia competed as an expert witness. At ORCS she competed with Miami A as Detective Weber, an arson investigator. She continued to compete with that team at the 2022 National Championship Tournament. Her sophomore year, she competed on Miami B as a double sided attorney at regionals and as an expert witness on Miami A at ORCS. Her junior year, she competed on both sides with Miami A as a prosecution expert and a defense attorney.
Outside of MMT, Julia is a member of the Honors College as well as the Farmer School of Business Honors Program. She is also a employed as a Teaching Assistant under Professor Paul Becker for Business Law. Previously, she worked as an intern at the Executive Office of Governor Gretchen Whitmer and as a Digital Technology Intern at General Electric Aerospace. After graduating from Miami this coming May, she will continue her legal education by attending law school next fall.
In her free time, Julia loves to travel, bake, play piano, curate memes via Pinterest, be chronically online, spend time with her friends, and hike. If you need hiking trail recommendations in Oxford, just ask her.
