ABOUT

Ilana is a junior competing in her third year with Miami Mock Trial. Throughout her time with MMT, she's had the opportunity to compete on all three Miami teams, primarily playing expert witnesses. She loves talking about the rules of evidence and using fun demos to explain complicated scientific concepts!

Outside of mock trial, Ilana is a part of the Honors College and on the student board for Miami's Hillel. She's spent her past two summers interning in her hometown at Cleveland Legal Aid and a boutique civil rights law firm. In her free time, she enjoys musical theater, vegan baking, and hanging out with her dog. Ilana plans to attend law school after graduation and pursue a career in public interest law.
