ABOUT
Officer Doug Ullrich is a Drug Recognition Expert and Field Training Officer with the Covington Police Department (KY). Officer Ullrich also has specialization in Crisis Intervention and Traffic Accident Prevention. He has served his community as a police officer since 2011.
Officer Ullrich attended Xavier University, receiving his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, Criminalistics, and Gender and Diversity Studies. He went on to receive his Master’s in Science of Criminal Justice from University of Cincinnati. Officer Ullrich has been coaching collegiate mock trial since 2018.
In the eleven years he has served CPD, Officer Ullrich has been an eight-time recipient of the Governor’s Award for Impaired Driving Enforcement. This award honors the officers who go above and beyond to reduce impaired driving. He is also the recipient of the CPD Distinguished Service Award.
