ABOUT

Dr. Herron is the Founder of Miami Mock Trial. He coached the program to a national championship in 2001. Under Dr. Herron's leadership, MMT earned the reputation that it has today as one of the elite undergraduate mock trial programs in the country.

In 2004, Dr. Herron received the Congressman Neal Smith Award from the American Mock Trial Association for his “significant and outstanding” contributions to law-related education. He is a 2008 inductee into the mock trial coaches Hall of Fame.

Dr. Herron is now a Director Emeritus after retiring from the program in 2016.
