ABOUT

Briana is currently a senior and joined Miami Mock Trial her freshman year. She has competed as a hostile witness and has won awards for her roles as a middle, opening, and closing attorney. Her freshman year, she was a part of the 2019 Nationals team; most recently, she was co-captain of Miami B.

In 2018, Briana graduated from Notre Dame - Cathedral Latin School where she participated in theatre (both acting and directing), student council, and mock trial. In high school, Briana received outstanding awards both as an attorney and as a witness. For her witness portrayals, she received awards at the district, regional, state, and national level, ranking 7th in the nation her junior year for her role as an expert witness.

At Miami, Briana studies psychology and political science. She plans to attend law school after graduation and hopes to work in family law. On-campus she is a part of Community Standards Board, which hears suspendable cases for students, Women in Law, and her sorority, Chi Omega, where she was Mom’s Weekend Chair and Co-Sprite Day Chair her junior year. In her spare time, Briana can be found making friendship bracelets, baking cookies, listening to far too much Taylor Swift, and hanging out with friends.
