ABOUT
Matt is a shareholder at Katz Teller Brant & Hild in Cincinnati. He counsels employers on personnel and employment law matters and litigates commercial disputes in addition to serving as the chair of the firm’s recruiting, marketing and administrative committees. He has been involved with mock trial in one way or another since 1996, and competed in undergrad at Bellarmine University, which won the 1999 National Championship during his time there. He coached Cornell University from 2001-2004 while he was in law school, and returned to coach Bellarmine from 2006-2010. During Miami’s 2001 National Championship season, he started a program at a business and technical college for nontraditional students because the withdrawal from mock trial was so hard.
Over the course of his mock life, he has competed against or judged many of Miami’s current coaches, has always been a huge fan of the program, and is very excited to join the MMT family.
